In the presentation titled\u00a0 &#8220;The Standardization of contemporaneous notes via the use of forms: Applications in Fingermark and Handwriting Examination&#8221;, together with\u00a0 Megan Needham\u00a0and\u00a0Tomasz Dzidzic the manager of our laboratory Nikolaos Kalantzis\u00a0presented our laboratory&#8217;s collaboration with\u00a0\u00a0Staffordshire University, IES Krakow, NCForences laboratory from Porto and\u00a0 Zeus laboratory from Prague\u00a0regarding the standardization of note taking during forensic examination.<\/strong><\/div>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<hr \/>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\"><strong>2. In the presentation titled &#8220;Digitally Captured Signatures vs. Paper Pen Signatures: Similar or Completely Different?&#8221;, together with Erich Kupfersmid from Kantonpolizei Zurich and Jonathan Heckeroth from Bundeskriminalamt Germany, the findings of the\u00a0STEFA G8 research project dealing with Digitally Captured Signatures\u00a0where presented.<\/strong><\/div>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<hr \/>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\"><strong>3.In the workshop entitled &#8220;Present status of Forensic Handwriting Examination in Arab countries, and comparison of forensic examination of Arabic\/Latin based script &#8221; in collaboration with\u00a0 Dr. Ahmed Goher from Naif Arab University of Security Sciences of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.<\/strong><\/div>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">\n<hr \/>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 1\">The conference was a tremendous success and it became afield for exchanging opinions and meeting old colleagues and friends.
